Progress continues on the construction of the Virginia Capital Trail, a 54 mile bike path/ greenway running from Jamestown, VA to Richmond. Construction will soon begin on the section of the trail which passes by Sherwood Forest, historical home of America’s tenth president, John Tyler.
A public hearing to review the Sherwood Forest section will be held Wednesday, April 1 from 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm at the Charles City County Government Building Auditorium, 10900 Courthouse Road, Charles City, VA.
Come and see the preliminary plans for the next segment of the trail. The Trail is scheduled to be completed in 2013.
