As Bruce Wright of Fairfax Advocates for Better Bicycling reports, there’s a new bike advocacy group for Loudoun County. They’re off to a good start, with 16-18 cyclists at the first meeting on Dec. 18. A key issue is having a dedicated bike-ped cooordinator for the county. There’s no website yet, but anyone interested can visit the Bike Loudoun Yahoo Group, or attend the next meeting on Wednesday, Jan. 14, 7pm, at Cascades Library, 21030 Whitfield Place, Sterling, VA.
