HB 1683 will be heard in House Transportation Subcommittee #2 shortly after 7:00 AM on Wednesday, January 19. The Subcommittee #2 members are delegates Carrico (Chairman), Oder, Garrett, Cox, J.A., Cleaveland, Ward, Carr. This bill will die in subcommittee unless a majority of the member delegates present vote to report HB 1683 to the full Transportation Committee.

I assume the opposition to the “hunting on Sundays” bill is related to biking-in-woods safety concerns? Or is there something else I’m missing?
@Matt – yes. Let’s be clear that we’re not taking anything away from hunters. They already have the other six days of the week to do their thing. Everyone else should be able to keep their one a day a week to enjoy the woods without worrying about getting shot.
